The SF Servo Motors series is a family of permanently excited synchronous servomotors with electronic commutation, designed for operation with the fully digital Servodyn-D inverter system.
These motors use a sinusoidal e.m.f. design and integrated absolute feedback, with single-turn absolute encoder equipment standard and a multi-turn absolute encoder option available on supported versions. The series spans multiple frame sizes and performance classes, with listed locked-rotor torque values extending from 0.8 Nm in smaller models up to 69 Nm in larger units, and rated-speed groups including 1500, 2000, 3000, and 6000 min⁻¹ depending on model. Standard series features include an IM B5 mounting design, plug-in connections for power and encoder circuits, integrated winding thermistors for thermal monitoring, and optional 24 VDC holding brake versions. The motors are built for industrial use with IP67 protection.
