Product Description:
The SF-L1.0023.060-14.820 servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SF Servo Motors series. Developed for precision motion tasks in automated assembly cells and packaging stations, the unit converts drive commands from a digital amplifier into exact rotor movement while its electromagnetic brake secures the load whenever power is removed. The compact frame and sealed housing allow the motor to fit directly on light manufacturing axes without additional mechanical enclosures.
The motor reaches a rated mechanical speed of 6000 min⁻¹, enabling fast cycle times for indexing tables and pick arms. At standstill it can deliver a holding torque of 2.3 Nm, generated with a continuous phase current of 3.16 Arms; this relationship is defined by its torque constant of 0.73 Nm/A, so each ampere from the drive contributes proportionally to shaft torque. The housing carries a IP67 rating, permitting wash-down installation in environments exposed to coolant spray. During transport or operation on mobile equipment, the assembly tolerates shock levels up to 6 g without mechanical or magnetic degradation.
For load holding the integrated brake supplies 2.5 Nm of static torque, is energized by 24 VDC, and dissipates 12 W during engagement. With the brake disengaged the bare rotor presents 1.3 ×10⁻⁴ kg·m² of inertia, keeping the servo responsive to acceleration commands, whereas the braking package adds only 0.38 ×10⁻⁴ kg·m² and 0.3 kg to the rotating and total masses respectively. The motor is assembled in the IM B5 flange configuration, simplifying rigid coupling to gearheads or direct-drive machinery. These mechanical features, together with the rated brake power, allow the unit to start, stop, and hold light loads repeatedly without exceeding thermal or structural limits.
