Product Description:
The SF-L1.0016.060-14.050 is a compact servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SF Servo Motors series. Designed to convert controlled electrical input into precise rotary motion, it serves as an actuator in positioning stages, pick-and-place units, and other high-speed industrial axes. Integration with digital drive controllers allows closed-loop regulation of speed and torque, making the unit appropriate for automation tasks that need repeatable motion profiles. This arrangement supports accurate starts, stops, and speed changes in compact motion systems.
At a rated speed of 6000 rpm, the rotor reaches application-level velocities while remaining within thermal limits. During a stopped condition, the shaft can deliver a standstill torque of 1.6 Nm, and the associated standstill current is 2.2 A. Dynamic response is set by a torque constant of 0.73 Nm/A, so each ampere from the drive produces nearly three-quarters of a newton-meter. High-resolution feedback is provided by an optical encoder that outputs 8 million increments per revolution. This feedback gives the drive precise rotor position data across the operating range. Its ±20 arc-second accuracy supports micrometer-level positioning. The lightweight magnetic assembly is aided by a rotor inertia of 1.1 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m², and the housing survives mechanical shocks up to 6 g without loss of calibration.
For holding and emergency stops, an internal brake delivers 2.5 Nm of static torque while being energized at 24 VDC. This brake supports load retention when the axis is stationary. The brake consumes 12 W, has a mass of 0.3 kg, and contributes 0.38 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² of additional inertia to the load train. When installed outside the optional A-flange, the enclosure meets IP67, protecting the motor against dust ingress and temporary immersion. Operational sound pressure stays at or below 58 dB(A) during operation.
