Product Description:
The SF-A4.0125.030-10.050 is a permanent-magnet servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the SF Servo Motors series. It is intended for industrial automation axes that require precise positioning, steady speed regulation, and rapid reversal. By converting drive-controller output into controlled shaft rotation, the unit supports repeatable motion in packaging stations, pick-and-place modules, and machine-tool feeds where tight feedback loops and stable response are important.
At a rated speed of 3000 rpm, the rotor provides continuous motion compatible with common drive frequencies. The electromagnetic circuit has a torque constant of 1.37 Nm/A, giving a direct relationship between phase current and developed torque during normal operation. If the shaft is blocked during startup or overload, the motor can generate a locked-rotor torque of 14.5 Nm while the windings draw up to 10.6 A. The drive must therefore supply enough current and manage the related thermal demand during transient conditions. The intermediate circuit must also provide 670 V DC for rapid torque changes, and electrical terminations use a size 1 six-pin connector that accepts conductors up to 2.5 mm².
The enclosure has an IP 67 protection rating, allowing use in dusty areas and occasional washdown zones. Bearing design tolerates an axial thrust of 154 N, which helps the motor handle end loads from belts or helical gears without unnecessary bearing stress. Acoustic emission stays below 58 dB(A), helping keep surrounding equipment areas quieter during operation. The motor can withstand mechanical shocks up to 6 g, which is useful on gantry or press axes that decelerate abruptly. During emergency stops, a 1.0 Ω plug-in resistor absorbs at least 785 Ws of kinetic energy, and the IM B5 flange supports direct face mounting to gearboxes or machine frames.
