Its permanent-magnet rotor is cooled by natural convection, so it can be mounted in sealed cabinets without added airflow hardware. By combining a high permissible bus voltage with rapid feedback, the unit supports fast indexing moves as well as continuous speed regulation under changing loads.
The electrical section operates from a DC link up to 670 V, allowing the connected inverter to deliver full power with minimal current. Under rated conditions, the shaft reaches 6000 rpm, providing the high mechanical speed required for short cycle times.
