The SF-A5.0460.030-10.000 is a powerful servo motor manufactured by the company. The motor belongs to the SF series and is capable of supporting modern drive control applications. This model has multiple advanced technologies onboard that enable it to control the speed and position with high reliability and effectiveness. The motor is equipped with a Servodyn-D inverter system that can be automatically optimized by an electronic rating plate onboard the system. An inbuilt encoder is also provided with this model that helps to control the position and assists in positioning tasks where accuracy is key. A plug-in connection is also provided for the encoder. The motor can be used in different types of ambient conditions and aggressive climates as it has been designed according to the IP67 ingress protection protocols. There is sufficient protection against the ingress of water jets, oils, emulsions, and other noncorrosive chemicals.
The SF-A5.0460.030-10.000 has overheating protection with its two temperature control NTCs and is also cooled continuously through natural convection. It is possible to mount the motor in multiple configurations because of its IM B5-type construction. The motor's balance quality category is 'N' as it has reduced vibration frequencies during high-speed operations. The motor's smooth shaft assists in the seamless transmission of torque.
