The type SF-A3.0042.030-00.056 is a BOSCH brushless servo motor with F-class insulation in accordance with VDE 0530. The series of BOSCH brushless servo motors are cooled by radiation and natural convection. On the motors surface temperatures of up to approximately 100 C may occur. The rated speed of this variant of the motor is 3,000 rpm, and it has a shaft with keyway and feather key, without a mating connector. 

It is insulated by IP67 with a mating connector, without flange on the output side, and comes with sinusoidal electromotive force with absolute value encoder STG/MTG. The encoder type is STG with option MTG. The moment of inertia and rated current of the holding brake are 1.06 x 10^-4 kgm², and 0.66 A respectively under a supply voltage of 24 volts. The type SF-A3.0042.030-00.056 has a locked rotor torque value of 3.7 Nm. 

The locked rotor ampere is 2.3 A at the speed of 200 min^-1. The torque constant at 40 C ambient temperature is 1.6 Nm/A.
