The SF-A4.0230.030-14.050 is an SF-series asynchronous motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a low-voltage servo motor featuring sinusoidal e.m.f., electronic commutation, and an integrated encoder. The integrated encoder is a single-turn (STG) encoder with a precision of approximately 20 angular seconds and a high resolution of 8 million increments for every revolution. The unit is rated to perform optimally in ambient temperatures of 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius.
The unit has a smooth shaft end on its output side, which is ideal for highly demanding torque transmission. It comes equipped with a permanent magnet holding brake that is free from backlash and operates in accordance with the fail-safe principle. The holding break has a transferable holding torque value of 18 Newton-meters at 120 degrees Celsius. The brake weighs 1.04 kilograms and has a rated current of 0.7 amperes.
