Product Description:
The SF-L1.0016.060-14.000 servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the SF Servo Motors series. As a compact rotary actuator for closed-loop motion axes, it converts drive current from a 670 V DC link into controlled mechanical torque, allowing packaging stations, handling modules, or indexing tables to position loads quickly and repeatably. The unit is built for B5 flange installation, so its stator mounts against an IM B5 face, and an 11 mm diameter shaft that extends 23 mm transmits power to couplings. An integrated single-turn absolute encoder supplies position data for the axis controller during normal operation.
During operation, the motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm, a value set by the magnetic layout and bearing system so high-speed applications remain within acceptable mechanical stress limits. At standstill, the windings draw 2.2 Arms, supplying enough flux to hold commanded torque without overheating. With a torque constant of 0.67 Nm/A, the controller can calculate output torque directly from phase current. The locked-rotor torque of 1.6 Nm indicates the available turning force from zero speed when a load must start under tension. Feedback precision is supported by an encoder that delivers 8 million counts per revolution, allowing the drive to resolve very small position changes. The brake circuit draws only 0.4 A when engaged, which helps limit added heat during frequent stopping cycles.
For static holding or emergency stops, the spring-applied brake delivers 2.0 Nm of torque and is released with a 24 VDC supply so the axis can move only when control power is available. The combined rotor and encoder inertia of 8.3 × 10⁻⁵ kg·m² keeps the mass moment low, which supports fast acceleration and deceleration. An IP67 sealing system resists dust ingress and short-duration immersion, and the 271.5 mm overall length helps the motor fit into space-restricted machine layouts where axial clearance is limited.
