Product Description:
The SF-A2.0020.030-10.015 is a permanently excited servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SF Servo Motors series. It converts electrical energy from the DC link of a drive into regulated mechanical motion for positioning axes and feed drives. Radiation and convection carry heat away from the stator, so no external blower is needed, and the IM B5 flange-mounted housing simplifies direct attachment to gearboxes or machine frames. This layout supports distributed automation where compactness and minimal ancillary hardware are priorities.
The motor operates from a drive with a DC link stabilized around 670 V, and this level sets the maximum back EMF the control electronics must withstand. When the shaft is blocked, the phase windings draw only 1.3 A, reflecting a conservative magnetic design that limits heating during stalls. Under the same locked condition, the motor can hold a load of 2.0 Nm without movement, which is useful for clamping or indexing duties. Under normal operation, the rotor reaches 3000 rpm, giving a balance between speed range and torque ripple. The electromagnetic conversion factor is 1.5 Nm/A, so each ampere of phase current produces predictable torque for precise current-loop control. Two NTC thermistors embedded in the windings report temperature directly to the drive, enabling derating or shutdown before insulation limits are exceeded.
The motor has a sealed IP67 enclosure that prevents dust ingress and withstands temporary immersion, permitting installation on washdown lines or outdoor equipment. Airborne sound pressure does not exceed 58 dB(A), reducing the need for acoustic shielding near operators. The rotor and bearings tolerate shocks up to 6 g, supporting use on transfer heads or mobile gantries. A flange diameter of 100 mm matches standard IEC interfaces for direct mounting.
