Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the SF-A2.0013.060-10.037, a servo motor in the SF Servo Motors series. The unit converts drive-supplied electrical power into controlled rotary motion for packaging machinery, pick-and-place axes, and general automation equipment. Its closed-loop position feedback is provided by an integrated absolute encoder, allowing the connected controller to monitor shaft angle without homing. A sinusoidal back-EMF profile helps the motor run with low torque ripple, which is useful in applications that require smooth motion and repeatable high-speed cycling.
The motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm, enabling short settling times after step commands. A torque constant of 0.76 Nm/A links phase current to delivered torque, making the current response easier to match to the mechanical load. During startup with the rotor locked, the stator draws 1.7 A and produces 1.3 Nm of stall torque. The drive feeds the windings from a DC bus stabilized at 670 V, which supports fast current rise and helps reduce voltage drop across the motor cable during dynamic motion. These electrical characteristics support responsive acceleration and stable speed control across demanding duty cycles.
Heat is removed by natural convection, so surrounding airflow must carry away thermal energy without the help of auxiliary cooling hardware. Two embedded thermal probes identified as 2 NTCs send temperature information to the controller so overload protection can react before excessive heating develops in the windings. A flange diameter of 100 mm allows direct mounting to compact machine plates or gearboxes, and a shock rating of 6 g supports installation on equipment exposed to abrupt indexing motion or conveyor impact. This combination of passive cooling, internal temperature monitoring, and compact mounting supports use in tightly arranged automated systems where smooth servo response is important.
