Product Description:
The SF-A3.0068.030-10.018 is an SF series servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. SF servo motors are permanently excited synchronous motors designed to work in conjunction with the fully digital Servodyn-D inverter system. The motor comes equipped with an absolute value STG encoder for position and speed control. It also has the option for a Multi-turn (MTG) encoder. The compact design of the motor features a smooth, low contamination frame made of aluminium with an integrated encoder and an electronic rating plate that helps to automatically optimize the Servodyn-D inverter to the motor.
To ensure thermo protection, the motor has natural convection cooling type and thermistors integrated in the windings to monitor temperature. This unit is IP 76 rated with waterproof qualities and resistance to dust and other contaminants. The insulation of the motor is rated thermal class F in accordance with DIN IEC 85 requirements. The unit has installation pockets along its entire length for ease of installation in different setups. It is rated for balance quality category N and flange precision N.
The SF-A3.0068.030-10.018 has a locked rotor current of 6.8 and a speed rating of 3000. There are plug in connectors on the motor for the encoder and output. The output shaft on this motor is the basic version smooth shaft that does not include a mating connector. The smooth output shaft of the motor is ideal for applications with high demands since it can withstand high torsional, radial and axial forces. This motor is not equipped with a holding brake. It comes with a one-year Wake Industrial warranty.
