The Bosch Rexroth range of synchronous servo motors includes the SF-A2.0013.060-14.050. Synchronous motors are permanently excited motors with electronic commutation that are designed to work with the Servodyn-D inverter system. These motors find application in printing presses, packaging equipment, machine tools and other high precision applications. This model is a Size 2 motor with natural convection cooling. It features a low contamination aluminum body with an integrated STG absolute value encoder for position and speed monitoring. It can also come with a multi-turn absolute MTG encoder.
Rated for a nominal speed of 6000 min-1. Its locked rotor current is 1.7 A while the locked rotor torque is 1.3 Nm. The motor has a mass of 4.0 kg and a maximum length of 186 mm without the holding brake. It comes equipped with a basic version shaft ideal for heavy duty applications. The basic design smooth shaft can withstand high demands on torque transmission. A mating connector is not included but it can be purchased separately. For backlash-free operation and safety, the motor has a holding brake that helps to fix the axis at a standstill when the machine is not in operation.
The SF-A2.0013.060-14.050 has IP 67 protection so it can be safely used in areas where liquids, dust, and other contaminants may pose a risk. The recommended ambient temperature for the unit is 0 to 40 degrees C. The supported dc link voltage is 670 V. Thermistors in the windings of the motor help in the thermal protection of the unit.
