The SF series servo motors from Bosch are low voltage motors designed for commercial or industrial applications renowned for their high-performance capabilities, precision, and reliability. These motors are permanently excited motors which use an electrical commutation for more precise control and direction of the motor. Protection type IP 67 (except output side) Its mounting flange measures ∅142mm, with an output shaft diameter of ∅24 x 50. It has a cable cross section of 4 x 1.5 mm2 for the main cable and 2 x 1.5 mm2 for the brake cable. Without the holding brake, its length extends up to 277 mm and with the holding brake it measures 324 mm.
The SF-A4.0125.030-14.015 features a holding brake which prevents backlash of servo axes therefore avoiding drift, maintains safety. The technical data of holding brake is as follows, transferrable torque is 18 Nm, supply voltage is 24 ± 10 %, residual ripple 5%, rated current 0.7 A, mass is 1.04kg, separation time of the motor 50 ms and mechanical delay is 25 ms. No mating connector is included.
The motor operates at a speed of 3000 rpm. The torque of the motor is 14.5Nm. Cooling is achieved by natural convection. Temperature control is achieved with two NTCs preventing motor from overheating. A single-turn absolute value encoder system (STG) for precise speed and position control is equipped. Shaft end on output side for high demands on torque transmission. Always required for special balance quality category (S). The warranty period is 1 year.
