The SF-A3.0093.030-00.050 motor by Bosch Rexroth Indramat is a synchronous servo motor of the Servodyn-D drive series. SF servo motors use electronic communication to convert electrical power into mechanical power in applications that require fast and accurate movements. This motor comes with an integrated single-turn absolute STG Encoder that functions in providing information on commutation, speed and position. The unit can also come with an optional absolute value encoder Multi-turn (MTG). For thermal protection and cooling, the unit has natural convection type cooling. The inbuilt thermistors of the motor also help in thermo protection, ensuring that the motor can withstand extreme loads.
The SF-A3.0093.030-00.050 has a speed rating of 3000 and a locked rotor current of 8.1. The unit comes with IP 67 protection which means it can be used even in poor environmental conditions since it is water proof and impervious to different types of contaminants.
The smooth aluminium frame of the motor features installation pockets along its length as well as plug in connectors for the output and encoder. The Servodyn-D inverter is automatically optimized to the motor by an integrated electronic rating plate in the unit. To facilitate output, the motor comes with a basic version smooth shaft without a mating connector. The basic version shaft is suited for applications where there are high demands on torque transmission. The flange on the output side of the unit is also rated type IP 67 meaning it is resistant to liquid contaminants, dust and other types of contaminants. This motor is intended for operation with a d.c. link voltage of 670 V. This unit does not come with an integrated holding brake.
