Product Description:
The SF-A4.0125.015-10.057 is a three-phase servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the SF Servo Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop motion axes in assembly machines, packaging stations, and similar industrial automation cells where consistent torque and position feedback are required. A permanent-magnet rotor and integrated feedback allow the motor to convert drive output into controlled rotation that can be synchronized with PLC commands or coordinated by multi-axis controllers. It is suitable for indexing, feed, and transfer motions that require steady response across repeated duty cycles.
The motor reaches a rated speed of 1500 rpm, which is its continuous operating velocity under nominal load and cooling. At that speed, each ampere delivered by the drive produces 2.8 Nm/A of electromagnetic torque, providing a direct relationship between current and shaft output. For startup against static loads, the rotor can deliver a locked-rotor torque of 14.5 Nm while drawing 5.2 A from the inverter. The associated DC link must supply 670 V, matching the motor to high-power Indramat drives. Positional data are captured by the built-in absolute encoder, whose resolution of 8 million increments per revolution supports fine closed-loop interpolation.
The mechanical layout follows the IM B5 construction type, so the motor mounts directly to gearboxes or machine frames without feet. Its locating flange measures 142 mm across and provides a stable register for axial alignment. Winding temperature is monitored by 2 NTCs, allowing the connected drive to reduce current if thermal conditions rise too far. Service intervals are supported by a bearing life rated at 20,000 h under normal operating conditions. The flange-mounted housing also helps keep the installation compact where base mounting is not required.
