The 5PC Industrial Automation Units series is a family of computing units for B&R Panel PC 900 systems, built around interchangeable CPU boards and matching active or passive system housings.
The series includes Intel Core i7, i5, and i3 as well as Intel Celeron processor options on QM77 or HM76 chipsets, with DDR3 memory support up to 16 GB and integrated Intel HD Graphics. Across the platform, the units provide dual Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 ports, two RS232 interfaces, a CFast slot, SATA-based mass storage support, DVI-I display connection, audio I/O, and space for interface options and UPS expansion. The housings are available in active and passive cooling versions and use aluminum die-cast construction, while the electronics are designed for 24 VDC operation with electrical isolation and industrial certifications including hazardous-location approval in the complete system. Overall, the 5PC series is intended for industrial panel computing applications that require scalable processor performance, modular hardware configuration, and integration into Panel PC 900 automation platforms.
