The 5PC600.SX05-01 is a state-of-the-art system unit designed by B & R automation to provide control operation in industrial automation systems. This system unit has a compact housing unit that features sophisticated processors where the actual control operation happens. This product features several connection interfaces required for a robust automation system control; this includes a USB 2.0 interface, AC97 sound interface, Ethernet 10/100 Mbit interfaces, RS232 interface and keyboard/mouse interfaces among others. The USB interface integrated into this system unit is able to reach a data transfer rate of up to 480 Megabits; it also belongs to the type A connection. There is an integrated battery in this product unit; it serves as a buffer for the internal real-time clock of the controller and the individually saved Basic Input and Output System (BIOS) setting. This integrated battery has a service life of about 4 years and should be replaced regularly by operators.
The 5PC600.SX05 The system unit features a power button and a reset button integrated into its front panel; there are also several LEDs that communicate the power, HSS, and connection interface of the system unit in real-time.
