Product Description:
The 5PC720.1214-K02 is one of the 5PC Industrial Automation Units. It sports a resistive touch screen and a 12.1-inch SVGA display. It contains a dual-core Intel Celeron processor that runs at 1.6 GHz and 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. IP65 protects the front of the object. The 5PC720.1214-K02 panel PC is designed to work on the manufacturing floor, where dust, dampness, and vibration would break down consumer electronics. The 12.1-inch TFT screen has 800 x 600 SVGA resolution and 262,144 colors, so curves and icons remain clear even when the fluorescent lights are flashing. Operators can see diagnostic messages from the side thanks to a measured contrast ratio of 800:1 and 80 horizontal and 60 vertical viewing angles. The LED array on the back of the display can reach a maximum brightness of 450 cd/m² and is certified to decrease to half brightness after 50,000 hours of operation. An analogue resistive overlay that lets through up to 81% of light controls touch input. The 12-bit Elo serial controller can follow motions even when fingers are wet or gloves are on. There are two RS-232 COM ports on the back panel. Each one runs 16550-compatible UART logic and can be clocked to 115.2 kbit/s. This means they can work with old modems or bespoke serial lines. Three USB 2.0 Type-A sockets accept peripherals at the entire 1.5-to-480 Mbit/s range, and two 10/100 Ethernet jacks make it easy to add more network connections. The video output uses a DVI-I female connection, which let’s use either digital or analogue cables without losing any quality on the screen. There are additionally AC97 audio lines, which have distinct ports for mic, line-in, and line-out. This lets field operators listen to alarms or clip notes without needing extra dongles.
