The B & R Automation 5PC720.1906-00 is one of the 5PC Industrial Automation Units. The screen is 19 inches wide and has a resolution of 1280 pixel x 1024 pixel (SXGA). It features an Intel Core i7 processor and up to 16 GB (Giga bytes) of DDR4 RAM (Random Access Memory). The face of the panel mount device is protected by IP65. The gadget gets its power from a 24 VDC (Volts of Direct Current) rail that may change by up to 25% (Twenty five percent) from the normal voltage. It uses roughly 3.8 A (Amperes) while the load is stable, but when it first starts up, it may use up to 40 A (Forty Amperes) for less than 300 microseconds. A Renata-brand lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 950 mAh fits into the chassis from the outside and lasts around four years. There is a dongle connector, a pair of power and reset buttons, a buzzer, and three LED status lights nearby that show connection, drive activity, and network heartbeat. The 5PC720.1906-00 is made of grey-anodized aluminum and has a chemical-resistant polyester overlay on top of it. The front plate has an IP65 certification, while the back decreases to IP20 when a CompactFlash card is added.
