The device merges an industrial touchscreen, embedded processor, and field interfaces into a single housing, creating a compact human-machine interface for production cells. It is intended for operator input, process visualization, and direct supervisory control where space, environmental sealing, and quick installation are required.

The unit is sealed to IP65 at its front surface, so dust particles and low-pressure water jets do not interfere with internal circuits. Operators interact through a 15-inch diagonal display that renders graphics at 1024 × 768 pixels on a TFT color panel, giving clear status depiction and alarm detail. All electronics draw from a single 24 VDC nominal supply, which is common on machine power buses and simplifies redundancy wiring. A polyester panel overlay resists abrasion and aggressive cleaners, while the AMT sensor uses analog resistive touch technology, enabling reliable actuation with gloved hands or a stylus in oily environments. Cabling exits the housing through a bottom flange, so the mounting plane remains flat and supports pendant or arm installations without strain-relief accessories.

For host communication, the computer integrates 2 × 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports that can separate machine traffic from plant networks, a 1 × RS-232 serial link for drive diagnostics, and 3 × USB 2.0 ports for removable storage or service keyboards. These connections are managed by the internal controller and require no additional interface cards. Electronics and display components can be stored from -20 to 60 °C, allowing the panel to pass through unconditioned shipping and storage environments without damage. The available interfaces support network communication, diagnostics, and local data access from the same enclosure.
