The device functions as a compact industrial PC that coordinates machine sequences, exchanges data with higher-level systems, and supports operator interfaces through its integrated graphics output. By combining processing, networking, and basic audio capability in a single enclosure, it provides a central platform for control and visualization within automated equipment. This arrangement allows the unit to handle supervisory tasks while also supporting local display functions in space-limited control cabinets.

The unit is powered from a nominal supply of 24 VDC and draws a continuous current of 6 A, allowing it to share the same low-voltage rail used by typical sensor and actuator circuits. It carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be installed inside a cabinet that shields it from conductive debris and accidental contact. A vertical clearance of 270 mm is required to match its height, and convection airflow provides cooling without the need for a dedicated fan. Network integration is handled by 2 Ethernet ports, and each channel supports data rates up to 1 Gbit/s for communication with control networks, plant systems, or remote diagnostics.
