By coupling an Intel-based processor with dedicated graphics and industrial I/O pathways, the unit replaces traditional rack controllers while retaining the resilience and long-term availability required on the plant floor.

It is powered by an Intel Core Duo L2400 CPU fabricated on a 65 nm process. The dual-core device runs at 1660 MHz, so cyclic tasks such as interpolation or protocol handling can execute in real time.
