The VCP operator panels have a compact design and a circumferential rubber seal running around their rear. On the front, these panels have a membrane keypad that is designed using a 5mm thick aluminum plate with an anodized aluminum finish and chamfered edges. The keyboards of these Rexroth VCP operator panels encompass 15 status LEDs and 39 keys on a slightly raised surface. The keys have a minimum lifetime of two million switching cycles. The display has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels resolution and covers an area of 2.268 x 3.024 inches (H x W), along with the colors highlighted in five shades of gray.

The VCP operator panels are equipped with a CPU, integrated protection against polarity reversal, and come with a semiconductor self-resetting fuse. They rely on a 24 VDC supply voltage with a maximum of 10% ripple for their operation. The voltage rating must not exceed 30 VDC.
