The F2 COMBIVERT Drive Inverters series is a KEB family of frequency inverters designed for stepless control of three-phase motors in industrial drive systems.
Across the series, the units are built with high overload capacity of up to 200% of rated current and are intended for applications requiring controlled operation, speed regulation, current regulation, angle-synchronous regulation, and single-axis positioning control. The range covers multiple unit sizes and power classes, with maximum permissible motor ratings extending from 5.5 kW up to 160 kW depending on the frame size. Standard supply is three-phase 305 to 500 V AC with IP20 protection, and the series uses pulse-width-modulated inverter operation with output voltage up to the mains level. Smaller versions include an internal braking transistor, while larger units require a line reactor and allow connection of an external braking option for regenerative energy handling.
