The S6 COMBIVERT Servo Drives series is a KEB drive platform built as compact single-axis drive converters for industrial motor control, with versions available for both 230 V and 400 V supply classes.
The series combines the power unit with configurable control options and supports functions such as digital and analog I/O, relay output, serial diagnostics, CAN communication, brake control, and motor temperature monitoring. Depending on the control variant, the drives can also include multi-encoder capability and fieldbus connectivity such as EtherCAT or VARAN for integration into networked automation systems. The platform includes built-in safety and protection functions such as Safe Torque Off, overload capability, braking-transistor support, and temperature detection through sensors including KTY, PTC, and PT1000. Across the range, the series is designed for control-cabinet installation and supports connection of the mains supply, DC bus, motor, and external braking resistor in a compact, modular drive format.
