Kollmorgen S200 servo drives are compact, all-digital brushless servo drives available as base units and SynqNet-equipped units for single-axis motion control.
The series includes AC-input and DC-input variants, with AC models supporting 120/240 VAC operation and DC models operating from 20–90 VDC across multiple current classes. S200 drives are built for high-performance servo control, with published current-loop bandwidth values up to 3 kHz on AC units and 5 kHz on DC units, and a maximum stable velocity-loop bandwidth of 800 Hz when using SFD feedback. Integration options across the series include analog command, step/PWM and direction inputs, quadrature I/O, discrete I/O, RS-232 communication, and optional SynqNet networking, with feedback support including Hall and Smart Feedback Device configurations plus additional encoder interfaces on option-card variants. The platform also includes practical machine-integration features such as separate keep-alive control power for diagnostics/communications during motor power shutdown, front-access connectors and status LEDs, and built-in protection for inrush, output short circuit, temperature, bus under/overvoltage, and feedback faults
