The VT-HMC Digital Axis Control from Bosch Rexroth Indramat comprises a controller series for one or two electro-hydraulic axes, developed for hydraulic drive applications that require integrated closed-loop control and machine-level communication.
The series supports position, pressure, force, velocity, and substitutional closed-loop control functions, and it can also be equipped with optional IEC 61131-3 PLC functionality for local programming tasks. Its communication platform is built around Multi-Ethernet capability, with support for Sercos III, PROFINET RT, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and Powerlink, while selected variants also include PROFIBUS DP. For feedback and field integration, the units support incremental encoders, SSI, EnDat 2.2, analog command and feedback signals, digital inputs and outputs, and parameterizable analog inputs and outputs for hydraulic sensors and valve control. The series is designed for 24 VDC operation and DIN-rail mounting, with IP20 protection, built-in diagnostic monitoring for faults such as undervoltage, communication errors, cable breaks, and output short circuits, and operating specifications suited for industrial control-cabinet installation.
