CSB Drive Controllers
CSB control sections are BASIC units designed for single-axis operation with compatible Rexroth IndraDrive power sections. Configurable CSB01.1C models combine drive regulation with selectable master communication, encoder evaluation, optional interface modules, safety technology, an RS-232 service interface, and a standard operator panel. Depending on the configuration, master communication can include SERCOS, PROFIBUS, a parallel interface, CANopen/DeviceNet, SERCOS III, or Multi-Ethernet.
ENS supports IndraDyn motors and feedback systems such as Hiperface and 1 Vpp encoders, while EN1 supports feedback used with MHD and MKD motors. Optional modules can add a second encoder interface, analog I/O, encoder emulation, or safety functions such as Safe Torque Off. Wake Industrial can supply a matching CSB control section, evaluate a failed unit for repair, or help locate a replacement with the required communication and feedback configuration.
Product Number | Master Communication | Encoder and Interface Configuration | Safety Technology |
CANopen/DeviceNet | ENS standard encoder evaluation; EN1 encoder interface | L2 Safe Torque Off
CANopen/DeviceNet | ENS standard encoder evaluation; EN1 encoder interface | No additional safety option
CANopen/DeviceNet | ENS standard encoder evaluation; MA1 analog I/O extension | No additional safety option |

CSH Advanced Control Sections
CSH control sections are configurable, single-axis ADVANCED controllers for applications requiring greater interface flexibility and drive-control performance. They mount to compatible IndraDrive power sections and provide digital and analog I/O, relay output capability, an RS-232 service connection, operator-panel support, and multiple option slots. Available master communication choices include SERCOS II, PROFIBUS, CANopen/DeviceNet, SERCOS III, and Multi-Ethernet.
CSH option slots can accommodate additional encoder interfaces, analog or digital I/O, encoder emulation, and other application-specific modules. EN2 supports EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL feedback, while EN1 supports HSF and resolver-based feedback associated with MHD and MKD motors. Safety configurations range from controllers without an added safety module to Safe Torque Off, safety-technology I/O, and Safe Motion options.
Product Number | Master Communication | Encoder and Expansion Options | Safety Technology |
Multi-Ethernet | ENS standard encoder evaluation; EN1 encoder interface; MD1 digital I/O extension | No additional safety option
SERCOS III | EN2 for EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL feedback | S2 Safe Motion
SERCOS II | EN2 encoder interface; EN1 HSF/resolver interface | No additional safety option |

CDB Double-Axis Control Units
CDB controllers are BASIC UNIVERSAL double-axis control sections that provide control functionality for two digital axes in one unit. This architecture allows two axes to share a single control section while retaining axis-specific encoder connections and parameterization. CDB controllers also provide digital I/O, analog input capability, relay outputs, an RS-232 commissioning interface, operator-panel support, and configurable communication.
Four option positions support feedback or expansion modules for the two controlled axes. Depending on the complete configuration, a CDB can use ENS, EN1, or EN2 encoder interfaces and can incorporate additional I/O, encoder emulation, or safety technology. S1 provides safety-technology I/O for application-related functions, while S2 supports Safe Motion functions. The exact CDB replacement must preserve the communication, encoder, option, and safety configuration required by the machine.
Product Number | Master Communication | Encoder Configuration | Safety Technology |
PROFIBUS | EN1 HSF/resolver interface; EN2 EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL interface | No additional safety option
PROFIBUS | Two EN1 HSF/resolver encoder interfaces | S2 Safe Motion
PROFIBUS | Two EN1 HSF/resolver encoder interfaces | S1 safety-technology I/O |

CML IndraControl Hardware
CML IndraControl hardware combines an embedded-PC architecture with modular Rexroth Inline I/O. These controllers are designed for motion-logic and PLC applications and can be expanded through function modules, technology modules, local Inline terminals, and industrial communication interfaces. Standard hardware includes Ethernet, eight electrically isolated digital inputs, eight electrically isolated digital outputs, a ready contact, and CompactFlash-based application storage.
CML performance and memory depend on the selected hardware class. The CML45.1 uses an AMD LX800 processor operating at 500 MHz, while the CML75.1 uses a dual-core Atom processor operating at 1.7 GHz. The CML85.1 uses an Intel Core2Duo processor operating at 1.2 GHz. Communication configurations can include SERCOS III, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Ethernet, depending on the complete type code and installed modules.
CML controllers store application programs and runtime components on accessible CompactFlash media. Replacing only the hardware does not automatically reproduce the software, runtime, or machine configuration stored on the original system. Wake Industrial can supply or repair CML hardware but does not provide application programming or technical support for machine configuration.
Product Number | Processor | Communication Configuration | Memory Configuration |
AMD LX800, 500 MHz | SERCOS III and PROFIBUS; standard Ethernet connection | 256 MB DRAM; 256 kB remanent data storage; no SRAM
Dual-core Atom, 1.7 GHz | SERCOS III with configurable fieldbus interface | 4 GB application memory; 256 kB remanent memory; 16 MB buffered SRAM
Intel Core2Duo, 1.2 GHz | SERCOS III and PROFIBUS; standard Ethernet connection | 1,024 MB DRAM; 512 kB NvRAM; 16 MB SRAM |

PPC Motion and Logic Controllers
PPC controllers combine multi-axis motion control with logic and communication functions. PPC-R controllers use a RECO-format housing, while PPC-P controllers are designed as industrial PC cards. Depending on the loaded software and hardware configuration, PPC systems can coordinate intelligent digital drives through SERCOS and support machinery such as printing equipment, packaging systems, machine tools, and material-handling equipment.
PPC hardware can be expanded through communication, programmable limit switch, encoder, and cross-communication modules. PPC-R22.1 configurations can incorporate Ethernet and fieldbus interfaces such as PROFIBUS or DeviceNet, while the PPC-P11.1 installs in an industrial PC and uses a PCI connection. Because the expansion-slot codes identify the installed functions, the complete PPC type code is required when ordering a replacement.
Wake Industrial can evaluate failed PPC hardware, provide a reconditioned replacement, or help source a matching configuration. Firmware, application data, and machine programs may be separate from the hardware, so customers should preserve available memory cards, software backups, and configuration records.
Product Number | Hardware Format | Communication and Expansion | Key Hardware |
Single-slot RECO-format controller | SERCOS drive interface; B2 INTERBUS slave interface | 8 MB SDRAM; 24 VDC supply; 1.1 kg weight
RECO-format controller | Ethernet configuration; DPS01 PROFIBUS slave interface | 24 VDC supply; 1.2 A maximum current draw; three expansion slots
RECO-format controller | DNS03 DeviceNet slave interface; no Ethernet designation | SERCOS drive interface; serial programming and communication ports |
