The S4 COMBIVERT Servo Controllers series is a KEB family of digital servo controllers designed for closed-loop control of KEB COMBIVERT SM servo motors in industrial motion systems.
The series was built as a matched servo platform, with amplifier and motor combinations intended to provide fast startup and high dynamic performance in standard applications. Across the range, the controllers were offered in multiple housing sizes and in both 230 V and 400 V classes, with power connections for single-phase or three-phase supply depending on the model. The platform supports resolver or SIN/COS motor feedback, incremental encoder simulation, programmable digital and analog I/O, relay output, braking resistor connection, motor temperature monitoring, and local operation through parameter mode or manual drive mode. The series also includes integrated monitoring and fault handling for conditions such as overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, inverter overheating, motor overheating, overload, encoder faults, and communication-related errors.
