The BTV30 Machine Control Terminals from Bosch Rexroth Indramat comprise a PC-based operator and visualization terminal series designed to integrate one or more NC controls with PLC functionality or standalone PLCs within a single machine interface platform.
The series is built around a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics and is specified with 64 MB of RAM, a hard drive of at least 1.2 GB, and a 10.4-inch TFT color display with 640 × 480 resolution. For communication and peripheral support, the terminals provide RS232 and RS232/RS485 serial interfaces, a Centronics printer port, VGA, Ethernet, and a full ASCII keyboard with eight machine function keys. The platform is expandable through nine free slots, allowing configurations with modules such as CNC controls, PLC modules, serial interface cards, PROFIBUS-DP, INTERBUS, Ethernet, and other PC104 or ISA-based options depending on the function type. For industrial installation, the series uses an IP65-rated front panel with an IP20 housing and operates on an autoranging 115/230 VAC supply.
