The BTV30.2CA-28R-10C-D-FW belongs to the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Serving as a CNC-oriented machine control terminal, it combines visualization, data entry, and basic processing so users can load part programs, monitor tool paths, and adjust feed rates directly at the machine. The integrated panel design allows the unit to fit into enclosures or console frames while keeping the front controls easy to reach during normal operation. This layout supports local interaction with the control system without requiring a separate desktop computer beside the machine.
A 10.4" TFT color display, 640 × 480 pixels presents status screens and parameter lists with enough resolution for G-code lines, alarms, and operating prompts. Computation is handled by a Pentium 200 MHz processor, which provides the performance needed for HMI graphics and background control tasks. The internal PC accepts at least 1 GB of RAM, giving the system space for part programs and temporary machining data during active use. Power is supplied from a AC 115…230 V, 50…60 Hz mains source, allowing connection to common single-phase cabinet supplies. For removable storage and software loading, a 3.5" 1.44 MB disk drive is mounted behind the front panel, so files can be transferred locally when a network link is not available.
The aluminum faceplate has an IP 65 rating against dust and coolant splash, while the steel housing behind it is ventilated for cabinet installation. With slide-in dimensions of 372 × 335 × 200 mm, the terminal fits a compact mounting space while still providing a full operator interface on the front. Its mass of 10.5 kg gives the unit a solid panel-mounted form without making the assembly unusually bulky for this class of terminal. On the right side, 8 keys are provided for dedicated machine functions such as cycle control or other assigned commands. The American keyboard layout also supports familiar key placement for entering CNC code, numeric values, and menu selections.
