Intended as the primary human-machine interface for CNC equipment that is subject to export restrictions, it combines graphical visualization, numeric input, and drive supervision in one panel. The terminal fits a cabinet cutout and places sealed keys and a display on the operator side, letting personnel load part programs, review status data, and issue jog commands without an external computer. This arrangement supports local control and status monitoring directly at the machine.

At the front of the unit, a 10.4-inch TFT color display with 640 × 480 pixel resolution presents machining coordinates, alarms, and PLC variables. The embedded Pentium 166 MHz slot PC and its 32 MB of RAM execute the NC kernel, motion sequence, and graphic routines. Programs and parameter files reside on an internal hard disk with a minimum capacity of 500 MB, while the 3.5-inch, 1.44 MB disk drive maintains compatibility with legacy program transfer. Power is accepted through an autoranging supply at 115/230 VAC ± 15%, so the same terminal can be installed on U.S. or European mains without manual selection.

The enclosure meets IP 65 at the front panel and IP 20 at the rear, keeping the viewing surface sealed against dust and water while the rack section remains ventilated inside the cabinet. Overall dimensions follow a slide-in format of 372 × 335 × 200 mm, so retrofit work does not alter existing cutouts for the series. Installed mass is 10.5 kg, which keeps the unit manageable during mounting while maintaining a rigid front assembly.
