The BTV30.2EA-28R-33C-D-FW machine control terminal is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. As a human-machine interface for CNC systems, it hosts operator input, display, and basic computing resources so that motion sequences and tool data can be managed directly on the shop floor. Its panel design lets operators review machine status and enter commands from a single front-mounted interface. This arrangement keeps the display and input hardware together in one enclosure.
It draws from a nominal mains supply of AC 115…230 V, 50…60 Hz, allowing installation on worldwide power grids without a step-down transformer. Computing tasks and graphic output are handled by a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU that includes an integrated graphics controller, so no separate video card is required. Visual feedback is presented on a 10.4 in TFT color display with 640 × 480 pixels, giving operators full VGA resolution for part programs, alarm lists, and status screens. Program storage and data transfer are supported by the built-in 3.5 in, 1.44 MB disk drive, which accepts standard DOS-formatted diskettes for quick recipe loading. The sealed aluminum bezel meets IP 65 at the front, which blocks dust ingress and low-pressure water jets during cleaning.
In addition to the display, the right side carries 8 machine function keys whose labeling can match user macros in the BOF/MUI environment. Alphanumeric entry relies on the American (US) keyboard layout, simplifying operator training in plants that standardize on US key positions. The slide-in housing occupies 372 × 335 × 200 mm, so retrofits must allow that volume inside the cabinet, while the rear surfaces carry the housing IP 20 rating and the mains connector.
