BTV30.2CA-28R-33C-D-FW is a Bosch Rexroth BTV series operator terminal. It has the same architecture as a PC, with similar features and components. The difference is in the design and the ruggedness built into it. The display and keyboard are integrated into the front panel of the industrial terminal. The color display can be used to monitor and control industrial processes. An American-design keyboard and 8 machine function keys allows easy operator input for process monitoring and control. The front side of the unit is IP65 rated, which means it can be mounted so that the front side is on the plant floor where it will be safe from dust and moisture. The rear side is inside the control cabinet and provides IP20 level protection. The terminal has a TFT display with 10.5 inch display size.
A 3.5-inch drive allows use of floppy disks for installing software, taking backups, or performing similar tasks. A fast Intel Pentium processor power the terminal. Its clock speed is 300 MHz. Operators can select 128 or 256 MB of RAM for the terminal. The minimum hard drive size is 1 GB. Out of the 10 ISA slots provided on the terminal, one is occupied by the CPU module and the remaining can be used for installing optional application cards. Power supply voltage for the BTV30.2CA-28R-33C-D-FW terminal is 115/230 Volts AC. The typical and maximum heat loss for the unit are 100 Watts and 200 Watts respectively.
