Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the BTV30.1CD-32R-50B-D-130200-FW. This machine control terminal belongs to the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series and serves as the operator front end for CNC-equipped machining centers. It combines a display, keypad, and embedded PC so program loading, live status viewing, and manual axis intervention occur at a single panel. This arrangement keeps routine operator functions at the machine and reduces the need for separate external control interfaces. The front panel houses a 10.4 in, 640 × 480 TFT display that presents tool paths, alarm dialogs, and parameter tables in color for clear on-machine viewing. The display format is suited to control pages that place menus, diagnostics, and machining data in a compact layout. Computation is handled by a Pentium 166 MHz processor, giving sufficient cycle time for interpolation and PLC tasks common to mid-range CNC lines. System memory consists of 32 MB RAM, allowing resident software, part programs, and temporary machining data to coexist without unnecessary delays. Nonvolatile storage is divided between a 500 MB hard drive for system software and a 3.5 in, 1.44 MB disk drive that supports quick transfer of small job files or parameter backups.

The panel face has IP65 front panel protection, so airborne coolant spray or dust do not affect the keyboard or screen, while the rear housing remains ventilated at IP20. Direct machine interaction is simplified by 8 function keys arranged on the right side, and these keys can be assigned to commonly used cycles or axis selections. The terminal occupies a compact 372 × 335 × 200 mm slide-in bay and adds only 10.5 kg to the electrical cabinet. Its enclosure size supports installation in control racks where panel space is limited but full operator access is still required.
