Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the BTV30.2EA-24R-55C-D-FW as part of the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. The unit is a dedicated machine control terminal intended for CNC installations, where it serves as the human-machine interface that lets operators issue commands, view process data, and load part programs directly at the machine. It combines local visualization and data entry in one enclosure, so routine interaction with the control can take place without a separate external workstation.
The front panel integrates a 10.4" TFT color display that renders status pages and graphics at 640 × 480 pixels, giving clear feedback during setup or production. A side-mounted 3.5" 1.44 MB disk drive allows transfer of NC programs without a network connection. Processing is handled by a Pentium 200 MHz CPU mounted on a slot board that also provides the integrated graphics controller, so screen updates remain aligned with control data. Power is supplied from factory mains within the AC 115…230 V range at 50 to 60 Hz, eliminating the need for a dedicated transformer in most control cabinets. The front of the unit is sealed against dust and coolant splash, while the rear housing allows convection cooling inside the enclosure.
The operator interface is completed by 8 machine function keys arranged on the right, plus an American (US) keyboard that matches BOF / MUI software prompts, so data entry follows standard PC conventions. This layout gives the terminal dedicated hard keys for common machine functions while still supporting full text input for menus and program edits. Cabinet planning is simplified because the slide-in chassis occupies only 372 × 335 × 200 mm, and installation weight stays manageable at 10.5 kg, allowing the terminal to be mounted on swing arms or pendant brackets without additional reinforcement. The compact housing also fits well in machine areas where available mounting space is limited.
