Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the BTV30.2SA-64R-10C-D-FW as part of the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. This terminal serves as the operator interface for PLC-based installations, providing local visualization and command entry for machine sequences. It houses its computing and display hardware inside a slide-in chassis, allowing quick replacement without rewiring. The front panel carries a sealed membrane keyboard, while the rear housing mates with the control cabinet to shorten signal paths and reduce panel depth.

The operator screen is a 10.4" TFT color display that renders 640 × 480 pixels for status pages, alarm lists, and parameter screens. Internal power is derived from a single-phase supply rated at AC 115…230 V, 50…60 Hz, so the unit can be connected to either European or North American mains without a transformer. Processing tasks such as motion setpoint calculation and recipe handling run on a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics. System memory is factory-equipped with 64 MB of DRAM, while advanced BOF/MUI runtime images require expanded memory up to at least 1 GB. Environmental protection reaches IP 65 on the front surface, keeping dust and low-pressure water jets away from the keypad and screen, while the steel housing remains at IP 20 inside the cabinet.

A 3.5" 1.44 MB disk drive is installed for boot media, log extraction, and file transfer. On the right side of the bezel, there are 8 machine function keys that can be mapped to frequently used PLC bits for quick starts, jog moves, or acknowledgments. The slide-in frame measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, matching the cutout pattern of earlier BTV panels so retrofits do not require sheet metal changes. Overall mass is 10.5 kg, which helps keep handling manageable when the cabinet door is open. Version 2 supports the American keyboard layout and maintains compatibility with series 30 diagnostics utilities.
