The BTV30.2PA-28R-33C-D-FW is a machine control terminal built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. It combines an industrial PC core with an integrated display, dedicated keys, and enclosure components so operators can run programs and interact directly with machining centers, assembly stations, and other automated equipment. The integrated front interface keeps operating functions close to the machine, which helps users view status information and enter commands without a separate control desk. Its slide-in design supports straightforward installation in machine-mounted control panels.

Its computing section is driven by a Pentium 200 MHz processor, which provides the processing power needed for NC interpretation and visualization tasks. The graphics output feeds a 10.4-inch TFT color display that shows 640 × 480 pixels, keeping status pages and parameter lists readable at normal viewing distance. Power is accepted from a single-phase mains supply at AC 115–230 V and 50–60 Hz, allowing installation in both European and North American cabinets. The aluminum front panel has an IP 65 rating that blocks dust and low-pressure water jets, while the rear housing is rated IP20 for cabinet installation. Removable data exchange is handled by a 3.5-inch 1.44 MB disk drive mounted behind the front door, which supports legacy program transfer without network wiring. For direct machine commands, the right side includes 8 machine function keys that can be assigned through the control software. Alphanumeric entry uses the American (US) keyboard layout, and a separate numeric keypad speeds coordinate input during operation. The steel slide-in frame measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm and fits rack drawers that follow DIN depth standards.
