The BTV30.2SA-64B-11C-D-FW machine control terminal is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. Intended for PLC applications, it provides program execution and operator input on a single front panel. Version 2 hardware in the Series 30 slide-in format lets the terminal mount in a cabinet, while the American-layout membrane keyboard supports BOF/MUI function keys for numeric and text entry. This integrated arrangement allows local machine control and operator interaction from one panel location.
Its operator interface centers on a 10.4" TFT color display that renders 640 × 480 pixel process graphics. A Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics drives the HMI and logic tasks, while the board-mounted 64 MB of RAM stores user programs and variable tables. This hardware supports local visualization alongside control routines without a separate external computer. Power is supplied from an AC 115…230 V, 50…60 Hz mains connection so the unit can be installed in both North American and European panels. The sealed aluminum bezel carries an IP65 rating, so dust and low-pressure water jets do not reach the keypad or display. For legacy data transfer and software loading, the front door holds a 3.5" 1.44 MB disk drive, allowing boot disk exchange without opening the cabinet.
The rear assembly is ventilated and has a protection rating of IP20, so it must be installed inside an enclosed rack with external cooling. Overall size is 372 × 335 × 200 mm, matching the cutout and depth of BTV slide-in chassis and leaving clearance for cable bends behind the plugs. The slide-in housing also keeps the front surface flush with the cabinet opening for a clean installation. With a mass of 10.5 kg, the terminal adds noticeable weight to the panel door and supports stable mounting during operation.
