The BTV30.2CA-64R-10C-D-FW is an operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. The unit serves as the human-machine interface and embedded computer for CNC workcells, linking operator inputs to the axis and spindle drives while housing the industrial PC electronics. It supports local machine operation, status display, and program interaction from a single front-mounted assembly. Version 2 is part of the 30-series hardware generation and fits the specified slide-in frame format. The front panel combines the display, control electronics, and operator keys, which reduces the need for separate interface components in the cabinet.
Designed for CNC (with export restriction) applications, the unit uses a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics and 64 MB of RAM for control tasks and screen handling. A 10.4" TFT color display shows 640 × 480 process pages, and eight machine function keys on the right side provide direct access to machine commands. Data exchange and system startup are handled by a 3.5-inch, 1.44 MB disk drive. The terminal accepts a nominal supply of AC 115…230 V at 50 to 60 Hz. An American keyboard layout is preinstalled for BOF/MUI navigation, which keeps menu labels and key assignments familiar for U.S. operators.
Front-side sealing reaches IP 65, while the rear housing is rated IP 20, so the display area resists dust and water jets and the cabinet side remains suited to enclosed installation. The different protection levels match the different exposure conditions on each side of the panel. The slide-in module measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, which helps it fit beside drives or I/O racks in compact control panels. Its mass of 10.5 kg gives the assembly a solid structure without making the panel excessively heavy. Series 30 firmware supports consistent operation across terminals that use the export-restricted CNC configuration.
