The BTV30.2CA-24R-55C-E-FW operator panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. It serves as the main interface between a CNC controller and machine equipment, combining visualization, soft-key operation, and numerical data entry in one housing. This terminal is intended for CNC applications that are subject to export restrictions, and it is configured for restricted market deployment. In normal use, it allows machine status pages, control functions, and entered values to be managed from a single front-mounted interface.

The display section uses a 10.4-inch TFT color display with a native resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, giving operators a clear full-screen view without an external monitor. An American (US) keyboard layout is provided for BOF/MUI commands, so key positions match the symbols commonly used in U.S. CNC data entry. Motion and cycle adjustments are issued through 8 keys mounted on the right side, allowing frequently used machine functions to be selected quickly. Processing is handled by a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with an integrated graphics controller, which removes the need for a separate video card. This arrangement supports local display of program information, status messages, and operating menus in one panel. For cabinet power distribution, the terminal accepts AC 115 to 230 V at 50 to 60 Hz, allowing connection to common single-phase power sources.

The slide-in chassis measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, which suits standard floor-cabinet installation without extra brackets. The front face has an IP65 front panel rating, while the rear housing is IP20 for enclosed mounting inside the cabinet. This layout allows the sealed front to remain exposed at the machine while the rear section stays inside the control enclosure. With a mass of 10.5 kg, the unit can be handled without a lifting device during installation. The panel is built in Version 2 and uses series code 30.
