This machine control terminal is intended for operator interaction with CNC systems, providing a panel-mounted interface that links motion drives, logic controllers, and safety circuits on milling or turning centers. By concentrating operator input and status display in one enclosure, the unit supports command entry, process monitoring, and fault acknowledgment on automated equipment. It is suited to installations where the control terminal must remain accessible at the machine while the main electronics stay protected inside the cabinet.

The processing hardware is built around a Pentium 166 MHz processor, so the terminal can handle screen updates and program tasks typical of mid-range CNC applications. Visual feedback is shown on a 10.4" TFT color display, and a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels provides clear presentation of tool-path graphics, menus, and alarm text. A front-mounted drive accepts 3.5", 1.44 MB diskettes for program transfer, while an internal hard drive of at least 500 MB stores operating files and local machine data. This combination allows the terminal to support established CNC workflows that still rely on removable media as well as internal storage for routine operation.

The right side of the panel includes 8 keys for direct access to frequently used machine functions. The front panel has an IP65 rating, while the rear housing remains IP20 to support cabinet installation and ventilation. The slide-in chassis measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, which suits standard rack drawers and leaves room for field wiring. With a total mass of 10.5 kg, the panel can be mounted on common swing arms.
