Product Description:
The BTV30.2PA-64R-33C-D-FW is a machine control terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a member of the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series, it combines operator-interface functions and PC-based processing to supervise automated equipment. Used as the central PC in a machining cell, the unit presents process data, receives manual commands, and coordinates downstream motion controllers through its embedded operating system. This arrangement allows one terminal to support both visualization and local control tasks in the same enclosure. Because it is intended for industrial automation, the unit is suited to machine operation rather than general office computing.
Inside the terminal, a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics supports deterministic control tasks while still running standard PC applications. This setup allows control software and interface screens to run from the same platform. System memory is 64 MB, which is sufficient for HMI runtimes and fieldbus drivers used in typical PC-based automation. Operators view status screens on a 10.4 in TFT color display that renders 640 × 480 pixels, and they can load or back up recipes through the built-in 3.5 in, 1.44 MB disk drive. Power is supplied directly from plant mains within the AC 115–230 V, 50–60 Hz range, so no separate low-voltage supply is required. The American (US) BOF/MUI keyboard layout and eight machine function keys positioned on the right support quick data entry and direct access to common machine commands.
The enclosure is designed for industrial panels; the front panel with an IP 65 rating blocks dust and low-pressure water jets, while the rear housing meets IP 20 to accommodate cabinet ventilation. Mechanical integration is simplified by the 372 × 335 × 200 mm slide-in frame that matches standard rack openings in the series. The rear section is intended for cabinet installation where normal enclosure protection and airflow are available. At approximately 10.5 kg, the assembly remains manageable during panel installation or removal. The unit is Version 2 and belongs to the 30 series.
