Product Description
The BTV30.1PD-16R-50B-D-000000-FW Control Terminal developed by Bosch features eight dedicated hardware function keys conveniently located along the right hand side. It includes a 32 mb of system memory which is enough for handling real time process visualization, parameter adjustment and communications tasks typical of industrial automation systems.
The BTV30.1PD-16R-50B-D-000000-FW control terminal is engineered to automatically adjust to electrical supply levels within a range of approximately 115 to 230 volts alternating current and it can tolerate fluctuations up to 15 percent above or below the nominal value which makes it suitable for varied power settings. It provides two serial communication channels based on the RS-232 standard which is commonly employed for connecting to peripheral equipment such as barcode readers, printers or other systems. It meets IP 65 classification and its housing is compliant with IP 20 standards and these protection levels align with DIN 40050 and IEC 529 standards which makes it fine to operate in a control room. It includes a total of 10 internal slots for module installation or hardware expansion in which one slot is already occupied by the primary processor board and the remaining slots can be utilized for additional interface cards, memory expansions or control specific modules depending on the requirements.
This BTV30.1PD-16R-50B-D-000000-FW control terminal has a keyboard that follows a German layout specifically designed for BOF and it is featured with a 3.5-inch removable storage drive capable of reading and writing 1.44-megabyte floppy disks which enables basic offline data transfers, software updates or loading control programs. Its maximum power consumption does not increase 250 volt A and when running normal conditions it only generates heat equivalent to 0.1 kilowatts.
