The BTV30.2PA-24R-55C-D-FW is a machine control terminal manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. It serves as a combined display, keyboard, and industrial PC that mounts in the front panel of a cabinet, giving production staff direct access to motion programs, diagnostic logs, and process parameters. By locating computing resources at the operator station, it reduces wiring length to sensors and drives while keeping the electronics behind an IP-rated bezel.
A Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU provides the processing headroom for PLC visualization tasks and low-level control routines. Operators view real-time data on the integrated 10.4" TFT color display, 640 × 480 pixels, which is suitable for graphical function keys and alarm windows. The terminal accepts power from plant mains in the range of AC 115...230 V, 50...60 Hz, allowing installation on either North American or European supply networks without a transformer. Its aluminum front meets IP 65, so washdown spray or airborne oil mist will not penetrate the keypad or screen, while the rear housing remains at IP 20 for convection cooling inside the enclosure. The chassis size is 372 × 335 × 200 mm, and it slides into standardized 19-inch cabinet cutouts.
Local data exchange uses a 3.5" 1.44 MB drive mounted behind the front door. The keyboard follows the American (US) layout, which simplifies use where English mnemonics already appear on drive parameters. Eight dedicated machine functions are triggered through the illuminated block of 8 keys on the right side, letting frequently used commands be assigned without taking space from alphanumeric keys. Despite the integrated PC and display, the assembly weighs only 10.5 kg, which helps keep front-panel handling manageable.
