Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the BTV30.1CA-32R-50B-D-020200-FW as part of the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. This machine control terminal combines a color display, an integrated keyboard, and embedded PC hardware to form the central operator station for CNC lines. By receiving cycle data from the drive system and sending commands back to the controller, it supports part-program execution and real-time adjustment on milling, turning, and grinding equipment. The unit is intended for use in export-controlled CNC applications where the operator interface must remain directly accessible at the machine.

The computing core is a Pentium 166 MHz processor that handles motion sequences, screen refresh, and fieldbus communication. It is paired with 32 MB of RAM, which stores the active PLC task list and buffers graphics for responsive menu changes. Operator feedback is provided through a 10.4" TFT color display with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, so G-code, status bars, and tool offsets can be viewed clearly on one page. For offline data transfer, the front panel includes a 3.5", 1.44 MB floppy drive that accepts DOS-formatted disks. Permanent data such as system software, user macros, and cutting parameters is stored on a minimum 500 MB hard drive mounted on the internal bus.

Direct cycle start, stop, and spindle override commands are issued with the panel’s 8 keys on the right-hand side, while the remaining keyboard fields use the American layout for programming and diagnostics. The front bezel has an IP65 rating to resist dust and coolant jets, while the rear housing meets IP20 requirements for enclosed cabinet installation. A slide-in frame of 372 × 335 × 200 mm supports rack mounting in control cabinets. The terminal weighs 10.5 kg, and it is approved for Series 30 systems used in export-controlled CNC installations.
