Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the BTV30.2CA-24R-55C-D-FW operator terminal. It belongs to the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series, is hardware version 2, and provides the human-machine interface and processing power required in CNC machine cells subject to export restrictions. Designed as a machine control terminal, it combines display output, alphanumeric entry, and real-time control interaction so a single front panel can supervise tool paths, spindle speeds, and auxiliary machine functions. This integrated format keeps machine status, command entry, and operating controls together at the cabinet front.

Visualization is handled by a 10.4" TFT color display that renders 640 × 480 pixels, giving clear graphics for G-code status and parameter menus. A front-mounted 3.5" 1.44 MB disk drive supports program transfers and local backup files without network access. Computation is supplied by a Pentium 200 MHz Slot CPU with integrated graphics, so no separate video card is required. The terminal accepts a supply of AC 115…230 V, 50…60 Hz, which allows the same unit to operate in North American and international cabinets. The terminal has an IP65/IP20 rating, so the front panel resists dust and water jets while the rear housing remains ventilated for convection cooling.

The operator section provides 8 keys on the right side for dedicated machine functions such as jog, reset, or coolant commands. General entry is made through an American (US) keyboard layout that matches common CAD/CAM shortcuts and familiar key placement. The chassis measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, allowing the slide-in module to fit standard cabinet cutouts while preserving front access to the controls. With a mass of 10.5 kg, the terminal remains manageable during panel mounting, and the integrated operator interface keeps the screen, keyboard, and machine controls in one enclosure.
