The BTV30.1CD-32R-50C-D-220200-FW machine control terminal is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. Designed as a panel-mounted operator interface for CNC systems that are subject to export restrictions, it integrates human-machine interaction and basic computing in one enclosure so machining centers or production cells can be supervised directly at the machine. The terminal combines front-panel keys, a display, and an internal slot PC, allowing it to execute part programs locally while presenting status information directly to the operator during machine operation.

Processing tasks are handled by a Pentium 166 MHz slot PC supported by 32 MB of RAM, giving enough throughput for motion sequences, screen updates, and graphical pages typical of mid-1990s CNC controls. Data exchange, software transfer, and boot loading are possible through the integrated 3.5″ 1.44 MB floppy drive, while operator feedback is displayed on a 10.4″ TFT color display (640 × 480 pixels). Power can be supplied from either North American or European networks thanks to the autoranging input of 115/230 VAC ± 15% autorange, which eliminates manual tap selection inside the cabinet. Its slide-in chassis measures 372 × 335 × 200 mm, so it fits standard 19-inch racks behind the operator panel.

For job storage beyond removable media, the unit carries a minimum 500 MB hard drive, permitting hundreds of part programs or diagnostic logs to remain resident between power cycles and routine restarts. The molded front bezel provides IP65 front / IP20 housing protection, and machine interaction is streamlined by 8 machine function keys placed on the right side so gloved operators can launch macros without using the full keyboard. Despite these features, the slide-in module weighs only 10.5 kg, staying within the load limits of standard control cabinet rails.
