Product Description:
The BTV30.2EA-64R-33C-D-FW is a machine control terminal from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's BTV30 Machine Control Terminals series. Designed as the front end for CNC systems without export restrictions, it combines PC hardware, a display, and dedicated machine keys in a sealed panel that mounts directly on a cabinet door. The terminal lets operators enter programs, monitor axis data, and acknowledge alarms at the machine instead of returning to a separate supervisory station. Because the computer, display, and keys are integrated into one enclosure, machine interaction stays concentrated at the point of operation. Its role is to provide local human-machine interface functions in forming, packaging, and general machining cells.
At the core is a Pentium 200 MHz slot CPU with integrated graphics, paired with 64 MB RAM for part programs and real-time control tasks. Status pages appear on a 10.4" TFT display with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels, a format that matches VGA-based control environments and keeps on-screen information easy to read. The unit accepts AC 115…230 V at 50–60 Hz, so it can operate from common industrial mains supplies in different regions. Electronics, cooling, and storage are mounted on a slide-in frame that can be withdrawn from the cabinet front for service access, which helps reduce downtime when internal components need attention.
User input is handled by an American-layout membrane keyboard and 8 function keys on the right side of the bezel, giving direct access to commonly used screen commands. A front rating of IP 65 protects the operator side against dust and coolant splash, while the rear section remains ventilated for internal airflow. An onboard 3.5", 1.44 MB disk drive provides removable storage for small NC files and other transferable data used with legacy controls. The membrane surface also simplifies wipe-down compared with protruding keycaps in environments where oil mist or residue may be present. The assembly weighs 10.5 kg, which keeps the panel manageable during installation and service.
